Several years ago SwedishAmerican made the commitment to bringing a world class cancer care center to Northern Illinois. About two years ago, Brian Reck asked us to start thinking of ways to introduce the new SwedishAmerican Regional Cancer Center (SARCC). Working with The Rudosky Agency and writer George Chalekian, we came up with four different concepts, each emphasizing a different aspect of the new center.

This spot, ‘Latest Advance’, shows the SARCC as the place where leading edge cancer treatments come together in the Rockford area. We show the new Varian Linear Accelerator, Philips PET/CT, live videoconference room and the grounds outside the center, featuring Kaukauna Lake.

Darrin Kaneshiro and Gail Wettengel did a marvelous job coordinating a very difficult schedule. And Perry Perkins’ crew did wonders getting his crane built in time to get our DP, Shawn Hiatt, in the air by sunrise – which you can see in the reflections in the window.
