THE FISHING CLUB is about a group of friends who try to prevent their favorite beach from development. If they manage to save the land, they might lose their jobs, their friends and maybe even their freedom as a result. “The Fishing Club” gets a lot more than they bargained for as they try to do the right thing.

The story was filmed in the caves, back roads, farms, forests, streams and beaches of O‘ahu. But it could have happened on any island in Hawai‘i, and its themes resonate in many places – not just here, but around the world.
